Sessions are 45 minutes and you have 3 available to you within a 12 month period. This is short term solution focused therapy. If you’re seeking longer term therapy, we can discuss this too.

Reaching out to initiate support can be overwhelming. I understand and respect the vulnerability it takes to invest in your own self care. These sessions are conversational in style, and aimed at helping you clear the clutter enough to move through your life a bit more easily.

There is a small meditation waiting room adjacent to my counseling office to give you some privacy in preparation.

To get the most from our time together here are some helpful tips:

Take a few minutes and identify (if you can) what prompted you to reach out to schedule an appointment. It can help to write down anything you want to be sure to bring up and have it with you for the session.

It’s also okay if you don’t have anything specific. Maybe you’ve been thinking about counseling for a while and since SIG offered, why not?  Make a list of a couple of reasons you’ve been considering getting into counseling.

Maybe someone else suggested it could be helpful to you? What was their concern for you? This can be a helpful place to start – whether you agree with their concern or not.
