Payment

Fee : $185 for 50 minute session. The fee is payable by cash, credit card, HSA card, or check at the time of each session.

Insurance

I am an independent practitioner and am not “in network” with insurance companies. If you choose to submit a claim for reimbursement for therapy sessions, I will provide all necessary information for you to do so. Please note, all insurance providers require a psychiatric diagnosis identified on your record for reimbursement.  Services may be covered in full or in part by your “out-of-network” health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your insurance company the following questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
  • Am I able to see an “out of network” psychotherapist?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • How do I submit a claim for reimbursement for “out of network” psychotherapy sessions?

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.

Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a therapist, and information cannot be disclosed without your written permission.

Exceptions include:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
  • If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
